Below is a list of commonly asked questions with answers:

Registration & Packet Pick Up Questions

Can I pick up a packet for a friend of family member? Yes

Should participants pick up their packets early? YES, please plan to pick up your packet early if possible.

Am I guaranteed a race shirt? All pre registered participants are guaranteed the race shirt size they requested during the registration process. Race Day and Packet Pick up sign ups are not guaranteed the shirt size of their choice, shirts will be given on a first come first serve basis. We will do our best to get everyone the shirt size they want.

How can I get a race shirt if I do not want to participate? You may register as a participant to receive a race shirt. You do not have to compete if you do not wish to do so. You may pick up your shirt and bag at the early packet pick up.

What will we receive at packet pick up? You will receive your race shirt, race number w/ timing tag, and race goody bag.

What type of timing is being used? Mississippi Race Timing will be timing the event. Your timing chip will be on the back of your racing number bib. Participants must where their number on the FRONT of their outer most garment. Participants must wear a race number bib to get an official time and be included in the results.

Race Day Questions

Where is the race located? 300 Oaks will start and finish in the Arboretum of the Park Between the Bridges in Greenwood, MS.

What time does the race start? 10k Run: 8:00am - 5k Run: 8:10am - 5k Walk: 8:15am - 1 Mile Fun Run: 9:00am

What if it is raining/snowing on race morning? The race will happen rain, snow, or shine.

Where are the water stops? Water stops will be located approximately every mile. We encourage all runners to run with their own water as well.

When should I arrive? Most runners plan to arrive at an event 1 hour prior to race start time. If you have not picked up your packet at a packet pick up, please arrive at least 1 hour in advance of race start.

How long will it take to find a place to park? Around 5-10 minutes. Please arrive early, the only parking is behind the start line. If you arrive 5 minutes before scheduled race start, you will more than likely miss the race. Plan to arrive early.

Where do I park? Parking will be allowed in and around the old fire station, the Legion hut, and in the surrounding neighborhoods.

Are baby joggers/baby strollers allowed in the race? Yes, please start towards the end of the pack.

Are walkers allowed to participate? Yes, please start towards the end of the pack

Are runners allowed to run with dogs? Dogs are NOT allowed.
